About Us

Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune (DPU) had a humble beginning with one institution under its fold. Over the last 18 years it has grown by leaps and bounds with the addition of 13 more professional institutions.

DPU offers a wide range of academic programmes covering Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Optometry, Biotechnology, Management, Ayurved, Homeopathy, Design, Allied Health Sciences, Liberal Arts, Science & Technology, Online Learning Centre and Centre for Skill Development with has state-of-the-art infrastructure and dedicated faculty members.

Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune has been accredited (3rd Cycle) by NAAC with a CGPA of 3.64 on a four-point scale at ‘A++’ grade.

Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune is recognised as Category-I Deemed to be University and is included in the list of Institutions Deemed to be Universities under section 12 B of the UGC Act.

Under National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024, the Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune has achieved rank 5th in Dental Category, 11th Medical Category, 44th in University Category in India.
